Bay Gardens in the suburbs of St. Paul’s have over 5,000 species of plants. There is a small admission fee but it is well worth it for the conducted tour. The Gardens are open daily from Monday to Saturday.
No visit to the Spice Isles would be complete without a tour around Bay Gardens. There is so much to see here. A favorite are the giant Heliconias. The property is over 8 acres and comprise of the house, the garden and the forest. Located only 15 minutes drive from the town of St. George, Bay Gardens is probably the most convenient for many visitors in the town area. They offer guided tours, or you can simply explore on your own. These gardens are a true reflection of a tropical eden, a botanist’s dream come true. With over 20 acres, creating the perfect balance between beautifully manicured lawns and flower beds with areas of natural habitats filled with wild flowers, ferns and fauna.
Their pond holds many species of fish. They offer landscaping services, cut flowers, decorative floral arrangements, herbs and spices.
