The Grenada Marine Marina & Boatyard is nestled in one of the many safe anchorages along Grenada’s south coast. The yard area amounts to 6 acres which is dedicated to storage, repair and painting.
Osmosis treatments, metal fabrication, mechanical and electrical departments, woodworking, rigging and canvas services are also available on site. The basic yard services are supervised by Oliver “Watchie” Burris. A Grenadian national, Oliver brings over 30 years experience working with heavy equipment and directing construction-type projects. As the Yard Foreman, Oliver is responsible for the lifting, moving, chocking and placement of the approximately 130+ yachts in the yard, as well as the operation of the crane used to dismast yachts. In addition Oliver oversees the Yard Crew operations which include the bottom painting team.
The rigging shop is run by Louis Cuenoud. Louis is an expatriate Swiss national by way of South Africa, and was a crew member on the prestigious Whitbread winner UBS Switzerland (the Whitbread being a prominent Round-The-World Race). Corinth St. David Grenada
