Grenada Restaurants and Bars - Restaurants on Grenada

Coconut beach restaurant GrenadaCoconut Beach Restaurant GrenadaThe Coconut Beach Restaurant offers only the finest French dining right on Grand Anse Beach.

Walk directly off the ivory sands of Grand Anse Beach  into this restaurant, which is located in an antique house that is colorful in more ways than one.
The pink and green exterior is a precursor to the sort of vibrant dishes that await diners.

Located on the beach at Grand Anse, Coconut Beach is popular and once you’ve dined there, you’ll understand why.
You have the choice of a table right on the sand near the water, or something inside.

The Coconut Beach Restaurant offers only the finest French dining right on Grand Anse Beach.
The inside dining area has recently been expanded and is open to the beach and the water.
The cuisine is French Creole, and it’s excellent. Service is friendly and prompt.

Coconut beach restaurant GrenadaThis informal restaurant occupies a green clapboard house set directly on the beach.
From the dining room, you can watch the staff working in the exposed kitchen.
They'll definitely be working on callaloo soup, made with local herbs and blended to a creamy smoothness.

The kitchen specializes in various kinds of lobster, including the classic served with garlic butter, and an imaginative stir-fry with ginger chile.
Fish dominates, including a catch of the day served with mango chutney.
Almost anything prepared with fresh conch is terrific, just like the chicken breast cooked in local herbs and lime juice.

Coconut beach at nightSet up the main course with one of their salads or lobster cocktails, and then dive into a flavorful Grenadine dish like conch calypso, fish Creole, or lobster stir-fry seasoned with ginger chili.

Owner/manager Dennot “Scratch” McIntyre is friendly and engaging.
He will likely stop by your table to see if everything is satisfactory, and if you are so inclined, will sit down and chat with you for a few minutes.
A complete evening of dining on the beach is another original Caribbean experience.

Great place to eat especially for the sunsets and the fact that it is on the beach and the food is fresh.
Nothing comes from a can.
