 The Saint Margareth trail is a trail for the more adventurous hiker. This is also known as the Seven Sisters trail. Seven Sisters waterfalls on Grenada This rugged and untamed trail will provide a rich training experience in tropical trekking, and provide in-sight as to what it must have been like for ancient Carib and Arawak bushwackers. Located just right on the Morne LaBaye Hiking Trail Grenada , be prepared for a one and a half hour hike. If you persist, you will be rewarded by the untamed beauty of the cool, blue, gratifying Seven Sisters waterfalls.
When you are ready to leave, you can choose to retrace your steps, or trek along the private trail (15 minutes) where an abundance of nutmeg trees are located.
Proper footwear and caution should be taken, as this trail can be steep and slippery.
Between Grand Etang Lake and Grenville take the side road with a sign to St Margaret. If you come by car park at the designated area and walk from there. When you take the bus, walk on the side road for about ½ mile; then take the first path to the left that leads into the forest. After about 200 feet (60 meter) the path makes a 90 degrees turn to the right.
If you don’t see the turn to the right you better go back! You will see the first two of the seven sisters, one of them is over 50 ft (15 meter) high. If you want to see the other five, check Seven Sisters; the ultimate hike”. As with the previous walk, this is not a 100% rainforest experience. This one takes about 2 hours, plus breaks, it is recommended that you power shower and swim in the falls.
