   Dr Groom Beach Restaurant & Bar is located directly on the beach, spreading over 500 square meters, a tropical gardens with palms and beautiful flowers and plants. The Restaurant is constructed totally of wood, done in order to respect the real, untouched environment. It operates since 1990, though in the last 4 years has been part of a hotel.Dr. Groom’s beach Club is quite well known by foreigners as well as Grenadians for its ideal location and its lovely, secluded beach famous in the entire country for its impressive coral reef, a natural destination for sun lovers and a paradise for divers and snorkels During her visits to Grenada in 1960 and the 1985 HM the Queen Elisabeth II expressed her preference for this beach.  The Restaurant is built on different covered, beachfront platforms with a seating capacity of 60 persons, and an overflow area available on the beach. The kitchen is equipped with two industrial stoves and refrigerators, a central gas cylinder: very cost effective. There is also a little storeroom and separate toilets facilities for men and women. The Bar is of imported steel construction and has an all round refrigerators for easy catering to groups. It is an ideal meeting place for cocktails and sunset lovers. Dr Groom’s beach Club is also a fantastic beach for sports and aquatic activities, and very popular also for memorable full moon parties with barbeque and music on the beach.  Dr Groom Beach is located close to the airport, and easily connected with the other beaches, including Grand Anse, via boat.
