One of the most popular dives on the island of Grenada, The Sisters comprises of a stunning reef and wall dive that is only suitable for experienced divers. Depths reach far in excess of 37 metres, and there can be rough surface swells where the dive changes from a wall to a reef. There is lots to observe on the dive, with some wonderful coral and sponges that house everything from Creole wrasse, barracuda and trunkfish, to lobster and crabs.
This site is ideal for reef divers and marine photographers alike, and will provide and exciting and memorable dive. The Sisters is a beautiful dive in clear, blue waters. Where the dive changes from wall to reef there can be rough surface swells. There is a plenty to look at on the reef as there is a lot of activity. The coral is in good condition and the reef is teeming with life that includes Creole wrasse, barracuda, trunkfish, lobsters, porcupine fish, morays, trumpet fish and other small fish.
In comparison to the other reefs in Grenada this is a lot better. Lots of large barrel sponges. The wall has a gentle slope. As you get shallower towards the end of the dive look for fish like snappers and barracuda sheltering in between the rocks and interesting to look up to the wave action on the surface.
