Getting around Grenada - Dive Grenada
King Mitch wreckdive on GrenadaWreck of the King Mitch on GrenadaThe wreck of King Mitch sank in 1981 four miles off shore after the ship leaked and its bilge pump failed.
Fortunately all of the crew survived.
The wreck now lies in the sand on its port side, and because of its small size it can be covered quickly.
There may not be that much marine life around the wreck, but if you are lucky you may see nurse and reef sharks, rays and turtles as well as other pelagics.
The blue water makes a fantastic ascent and descent.

This is a great divesite for those who enjoy wreckdiving.
