Restaurant and bar to retreat to in the heat of the day.
Excellent day out.

The sands of La Sagesse Beach are lined with lush green coconut trees, which are a perfect source of shade from the afternoon sun. The edges of the beach are also shrouded in beautiful flowers and plants which flourish on this part of the island.

Although some of the beaches in Grenada are more secluded than La Sagesse Beach the combination of natural beauty, atmosphere and personality available at this location might be just right for you.

Amenities and Ambience

This beautiful beach is a part of the Las Sagesse Nature Center. Beachgoers can tak romantic nature walks through the La Sagasse Beach hiking trails where you may encounter exotic species of birds.

The number of people at the beach is affected by a few things, including the season and time of day. Some of Grenada's beaches may rarely be crowded, while others are often crowded especially when the season is at its peak. One of the key things one should keep in mind when considering a day at the beach may be the size of the crowd you'll encounter. While some beach goers prefer a crowded beach with lots of activity, other beach bums like a quieter oceanfront setting.

Like many other aspects of Grenada this beach has its own personality which will appeal to some visitors more than others. The personality of this beach is a bit different from what you'll enjoy at other beaches in Grenada. La Sagasse Beach is secluded and unspoiled, and the atmosphere is tranquil. One of Grenada's less developed beaches, you will hardly ever find a crowd here. This is the ideal romantic hideaway for couples or open spot for those beachgoers who want to connect with nature. These shores are not very popular with the locals because it is out of the way.
