Big Game Fishing Charters in the Caribbean!

True Blue Sportfishing

True Blue Bay Resort Grenada

Captain Gary Clifford invites you to enjoy the Ultimate Angling Experience.

We are committed to conserving billfish whose stocks are in decline worldwide.
Hence we tag and release all marlin and sailfish that we catch.
Leaping MarlinNote that sailfish we tagged on 3rd January 2007 was recaptured on 31st May 2007 in Key West Florida.

Grenada is blessed with deep water close to shore so run outs are often only 15 minutes!
In fact our record is a blue marlin hook up 20 minutes after leaving the dock!
We generally troll skirted ballyhoo and various sizes of artificial lures when fishing deep water.
Normally we run 5 lines and 2 teasers.

The main deep water species are:

  • Blue Marlin - boat record is 543lb* but we have tagged 2 x 600lb marlin.
  • White Marlin and Sailfish - both average around 40lb best around 60lb.
  • Yellowfin tuna - we have the Grenada record at 220lb.
  • Dorado - boat record is 44lb
  • Other species encountered include wahoo, skipjacks, blackfin tunas etc.

True Blue Sportfishing charter trips offer full time professional service using the best tackle, equipment and experience to make your time on the water as productive as possible.
We have been the top Grenada fishing boat in the prestigious "Spice Island Billfish Tournament" many times and in 2003 with our British charter clients Max Huntingford and Paul Britton, we won both the first place boat and top angler prizes

SailfishTrue Blue Sportfishing offers exciting big game fishing on full or half-day charters aboard the 31 foot Sport Fisherman Yes Aye.
With enclosed cabin, head, fighting chair and professional tackle, she is fully equipped to catch the marlin, tuna or sailfish of your dreams.
Refreshments and courtesy transport included.

We protect billfish from stress by not pulling them out of the water before release hence our billfish pictures may not be the best but we believe they are what the fish would prefer!

Gary Clifford has been captaining sport fishing charter trips in the Caribbean from the beautiful island of Grenada since 1998.
Grenada fishing is known as one of the best deep sea fishing venues in the Caribbean.
His speciality is offshore deep sea fishing for Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish and big Yellowfin tuna; plus wahoo and dorado.
